Christy Huang

Born in Mainland China, Christy arrived in New Zealand for studies in 1999.  After graduating with a Bachelor of Accountancy from Unitec, she worked in public practice for more than 10 years, becoming a Chartered Accountant after completing the Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting Conducted by the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.  

In August 2020, she took on the role of Group Accountant at HPA Group Limited.  As the Group Accountant, her responsibilities encompass a wide range of financial management functions including: 

• Preparing Monthly /Quarterly Management Reports for the HPA Group of companies and clients.  
• Preparing half year and annual Financial Reports and compliance.
• Assisting with Client’s Audit and liaising with external auditors.
• Assisting with the company’s monthly construction claim.

In her spare time, Christy loves travelling, taking photographs and reading.
